I'm planning on running the Yangzhou Half Marathon.

Does anyone know which part of the city the race starts in?

Any good hotels close by to the start area?

New area very good running area ,,similar to the Bund, but much longer and bigger in length 5 km . Start on the North / West side of the Haungpu River, access points, Longhau road, Longcheng Rd, Dong' an Lu, Rd south to the Haungpu River. New trial made for the EXPO opened May 1..this trial has a running lane made of the same material that new running tracks are made of . Just finished watching this race on the local TV,,very interesting. I think the times may be too fast . I would subspect that the distance may be short. NOT A HALF MARATHON

Another thing that is very annoying is the many people standing all over the finsih line at this race. Also no finish line chutes for men and women. I know the Chinese like a crowd. But as a fomer international runner please give me some room (breathing room).
